This tail case will also fit the 265 5-speed gearboxes as far I'm aware. This gearbox casting is marked 262.0.200.00.R, dates are 5/75, and 032343/9 punched into the case. Good used shape. This case is an easy way to convert 80s gearboxes without the cable speedometer drive into 70s BMW's like E9 and E3 chassis.

I pulled this Getrag 262 4-speed apart to see if it was still good, and surprised at how nice everything looks inside.
